OASIS GROUP TO PARTNER IRISH CRICKET TEAM
The OASIS GROUP, a European Record Information Management company with its headquarters in Ireland has become Cricket Ireland’s latest commercial partner for the 2016/2017 seasons.
The agreement, which begins with immediate effect, will see the Oasis Group become the Official Records and Information Partner to Cricket Ireland, as well as the sponsor of the Coach of the Year award at the Cricket Ireland Awards.
Ireland internationals Max Sorensen and Andrew Poynter joined Dennis Barnedt, CEO of the Oasis Group, to officially launch the partnership at Cricket Ireland’s indoor training centre at North County Cricket Club.
Speaking at the announcement, Mr Barnedt said “We are delighted to have formed the partnership with Cricket Ireland and to support an organisation who are moving forward so strongly in world cricket. The partnership will enable us to promote the Oasis Group brand through the support of Ireland’s fastest growing sport, through cricket’s extensive media coverage and through their involvement in the community, it promises to be a great two years with exciting matches both home and abroad.”
Dennis Cousins, Commercial Director Cricket Ireland, welcomed the partnership agreement saying: “Cricket Ireland are delighted to welcome Oasis Group on board as the latest addition to the Cricket Ireland Commercial Programme as our new Official Records and Information Partner. The Oasis Group will partner with Cricket Ireland for an initial two years, we look forward to working closely with the Oasis Group and supporting their business and marketing objectives, including the online and offline engagement of Irish cricket supporters at home and abroad.”
