Claire Gallagher to serve as first selected female president
Dublin, Ireland (May 19, 2016) – Claire Gallagher, the Director of Acquisitions and Integrations for OASIS Group Information Secured, has been elected President of PRISM International, the global trade association for information management companies. Gallagher will officially assume her new role at the conclusion of the 2016 PRISM International Annual Conference currently taking place in Bonita Springs, Florida, USA. A PRISM member for 15 years, she was elected by fellow PRISM members, having previously served as a Director on the Board, sat on the PRISM European Task Group and presented at numerous European conferences.
With over 20 years of experience in the Record and Information Management (RIM) industry, Gallagher has gained extensive experience and expertise in the data protection field. Under her guidance, OASIS Group achieved ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and PCI Compliance accreditations. Such accreditations have contributed to the positioning of OASIS as a RIM market leader across Europe.
As President, alongside the PRISM Board, Gallagher will direct and oversee association activities including the planning of the PRISM International Annual and Regional Conferences, the Privacy+ Certification program, the development and support of member benefits, and the InFocus publication.
