Information management experts, OASIS, have confirmed yet another major acquisition, establishing them as one of the largest and most diverse professional Information Management companies in Europe. In a deal finalised last week, the company has now acquired Cintas Document Management of the Netherlands and Belgium in a transaction worth €30M.
As part of the company’s aggressive expansion plans for Europe, they were successful in securing a significant increase of €28 million on their existing acquisition finance facility currently with Goldman Sachs, allowing them to integrate Cintas into the company and simultaneously doubling in size. The company has now grown from a Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Republic of Ireland-based company into these new territories of Belgium and The Netherlands.
Cintas Document Management Services of the Netherlands and Belgium has approximately 100 Team Members, 5 buildings and over 500 clients in Continental Europe and is now wholly owned by OASIS. This gives the company an entirely new presence servicing the major markets and surrounding areas of Amsterdam, the Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht, all within the Netherlands, and Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent in Belgium.
Said OASIS CEO, Dennis E Barnedt III, “This strategic move was completed with the goal of increasing our footprint while also continuing the quality of service within the information management field in the EU. We will now service over 2,500 clients across all territories and our intention is to continue this growth through acquisitions and client focus. Our success in securing the increased debt facility with Goldman Sachs has not only afforded us the opportunity to take our expansion plans this far but will also allow us to continue this growth within the entire EU as we find quality companies to add to the OASIS brand.”
This EU deal for OASIS coincides with its related company, Access Information Management in the USA, acquiring the USA operations of Cintas Document Management. Headquartered in Dublin, OASIS now employs over 200 Team Members and offers its services to several industries with particular emphasis in the financial, legal, healthcare and government sectors. OASIS were advised by LK Shields Solicitors on the increase of the funding facility and by Matheson Solicitors on the acquisition and entry to these new markets.
