Group Facilities Manager

Owing to our exceptional growth, we are seeking an ambitious, experienced & communicative Group Facilities Manager to join our exciting company.

As Group Facilities Manager, you will be working directly for the Executive Vice President of Operations & will be a key member of the OASIS team.

The Role
This is a group role with overall responsibility for all real estate in the Company (circa 40 buildings), preserving a problem-free infrastructure & ensuring facilities are safe, functioning & efficient. Our successful candidate will optimize the use of space & equipment while all the time implementing efficiencies & reducing operating costs.

Primary Duties

  • Manage all real estate & real estate leases (40+ buildings)
  • Plan & coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) & refurbishments
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment & supplies to meet health & safety standards
  • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Review utilities consumption & strive to minimize costs
  • Supervise all outsourced facilities staff
  • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
  • Partner with the Compliance/Quality team on any material health & safety items.
  • Handle insurance plans & service contracts
  • Keep financial & non-financial records
  • Perform analysis & forecasting

  • Lead by example in all interactions including but not limited to: working collaboratively with other members of the organization, setting expectations & holding the appropriate parties accountable.
  • Promote the OASIS brand through strategic partnerships & vendors while first utilizing company approved vendors.
  • Develops smooth & constructive relationships with OASIS leadership, vendors & clients

The Person

  • Strong communication, influencing & presentation skills are absolute musts.
  • Must display OASIS values, mission & vision.
  • 4-5 years of facilities management experience
  • Significant experience in managing relationships with multi-disciplined teams
  • Ability to motivate & lead a team.
  • Enthusiastic & positive communicator
  • Action orientated & driven
  • Excellent task management skills, results orientated with a strong work ethic, & demonstrated attention to detail.
  •  Must be flexible & friendly under pressure.
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills
  • Regular travel required
